Your data stays with you.
Plyb TV is deployed on your organisation's servers. The application, database and content are hosted in your environment, with no external cloud platform involved in day-to-day management.

01Where it lives
Application, data and content, inside your network.
The application, database and content files are installed on your own infrastructure, connected to your corporate directory (LDAP) or with local users. Your content, users and screen inventory never pass through an external cloud.
The dashboard runs in the browser, with nothing to install on the computers of the people who manage it. LG WebOS Signage displays get the Plyb TV app installed; on LG WebOS TVs you just enable the network control they ship with.
The only connection to Plyb is license validation: your server initiates it, always outbound, and our server never opens a connection to yours. Validation is periodic, not on every use. Beyond that, the server needs the usual outbound access of any installation: downloading software updates, DNS, time (NTP) and the web pages you choose to show on your screens.

02Continuity
What happens if the server stops responding.
If the management service stops, because of an update, a restart or a failure, screens keep showing their content: the service that plays it keeps a copy and carries on serving it. A maintenance window doesn't have to mean blank screens.
In the meantime you can't send commands, publish content or change schedules, and everything resyncs on its own when the service is back. Plyb TV is installed on a single server: if the whole machine goes down, screens stop receiving content, and redundancy for that machine depends on your infrastructure. We'll go through it with you in the demo.
